Schmidt SM ’83, PhD ’88 will present an update on the state of MIT; and other alumni-led sessions will share tips on how to become an event better ambassador for MIT. View the full schedule.

What’s new this year?

This year’s conference will include details on how to take part in MIT’s mentorship programs and feature a panel of young alumni entrepreneurs who will discuss MIT’s role in their professional success. And don’t forget MIT Gear Day on Saturday, Sept. 24! Show your pride and sport your favorite MIT threads during the daytime sessions. The Coop will offer a 15 percent discount on MIT logo merchandise for ALC attendees.

Are there evening events?

Yes! Friday evening will feature a beer garden-style reception in historic Walker Memorial. Saturday evening will feature the Leadership Awards Celebration—ALC’s cornerstone event—at the Boston Marriott Cambridge in Kendall Square. The festive celebration honors MIT’s most dedicated volunteers and includes a one-hour reception and a multi-course meal. The full cost of the celebration is included in your registration fee.

I can only attend for one day—is that OK?

Can’t stay for the entire weekend? No problem! Customize your conference through the online registration form. Attend one session, one day, or the entire two-day ALC.

How can I network before the conference?
